And thanks to smart engineering that includes a Gripple® cable mounting kit and carrying handle, installing it has never been easier. Smart Engineering = Simple Installations: Looking down from the top of a ladder or lift can be scary… installing speakers shouldn’t be! That’s why this pendant features a built-in handle for easier carrying. The screw terminal comes preinstalled on the speaker – not in some baggie you forgot about back at ground level (don’t you hate when that happens!). Lastly, the included Gripple cable mounting kit greatly simplifies the hanging process – just throw the 10’ cable over the ceiling grid and insert it into the spring-loaded connector – no tools required! Plus it releases easily, so you can readjust as needed.

Note: An extra Gripple cable mounting kit is included to serve as a safety cable when the building code requires.

Tool-Less Tap Settings: Tired of being at the top of the ladder while fumbling with a screwdriver to adjust a tap setting? Our tap adjustment is on the top – not hidden behind the grill – so it’s easily accessible. Plus its “handy” tool-less design means you don’t need any tools to adjust it. Available settings are 7.5W, 15W, 30W, and 60W taps, plus an option for 8-ohm bypass.

Premium Components: Top-quality components provide uniform sound and wide dispersion that’s perfect for projecting music and paging in large buildings with high, open ceilings. This pendant speaker has a two-way design featuring a 6.5” Mica-filled polypropylene woofer and 1” silk dome tweeter with neodymium magnet, plus a 1.2” oversized voice coil. Outstanding driver voicing is combined with a 1st order crossover for sound clarity beyond expectations, while a computer-optimized, low-turbulence tube port provides improved low-frequency response. We even included a self-resetting poly switch to protect the tweeter from harsh spikes.
