URC - 2 WAY NETWORK BASE STATION WITH ADDITIONAL RS-232 CAPABILITY
2 Way Network Base Station With Additional RS-232 Capability
The MRX-2 Network Base Stations bridges the digital divide between control of clients’ legacy components and the IP network. Acting as a Total Control “Control Expander,” it receives commands from a TC Master Controller (such as the MRX-10) and reissues them via IR, RS-232, or Relays. Each MRX-2 has the following: one relay, one sensor port, two RS-232 ports and 6 IR ports. The advanced connectivity of the MRX-2 allows it to connect to virtually any device or component.
Attention CCP Programmers: the MRX-2 can also be installed independent of Total Control and operated by a URC MX-5000, MX-6000, KP-4000C, or CCP's MX-iOS Application (which are not compatible with Total Control).

Important Note: When utilizing the MRX-2 as a RF Basestation (using the RFX-250), you will not have access to the RS-232, Relay, or Sensor ports on the basestation. These ports can only be controlled by IP Control Interfaces such as the MX-iOS, MX-Android, and KP-4000 (In the CCP Lineup).
