Yale Real Living expands its home control deadbolt lock line with the Z-Wave Touchscreen Lever Lock. The Yale Z-Wave Lever Lock combines a highly secure lockset with an illuminated 12-button touchscreen keypad, which allows users to lock and unlock their home manually without the use of a key or from a Z-Wave compatible home controller. When integrated into a Z-Wave network this door lock can alert users, via email or text, when the door has been locked/unlocked (settings are adjustable); for example it can help provide peace-of-mind by sending a text alert when your child arrives home from school and opens the door with their passcode. The lock stores up to 25 custom entry codes for keyless locking and unlocking, plus the ability to schedule when certain users are granted their access; the door can even be locked or unlocked remotely from any web-enabled device in the event of an emergency or unexpected guest. A history function gives owners the ability to view the last 500 users to access the door which provides them a snapshot of who is accessing the door and when. It's designed for seamless integration with any Z-Wave product or central home controller to allow for monitoring of the lock's status and setting of scenes within a home, such as triggering the thermostat and living room lights to turn on upon unlocking the door to enter your home.
